Charlbury Green Hub
CONFERENCE: Oxford Real Farming Conference, Oxford Town Hall
This annual conference brings together farmers, campaigners and consumers to discuss the state of farming today
The 9th annual Oxford Real Farming Conference returns to Oxford Town Hall on 4th & 5th January 2018
ORFC delegates will have the chance to hear from farmers, scientists and other innovators from across the UK and beyond, who are showing that new models of farming can be both financially rewarding and environmentally sustainable. Newcomers to farming will be inspired by each other and learn first-hand from those with long experience.
Lunch will be available to buy in the Town Hall from a selection of local caterers.
Evening dinner and dancing
As always, the Oxford Real Farming Conference is an excellent opportunity to meet other farmers and food producers from across the country and beyond. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to network together over a delicious dinner, and carry on the day's discussions.
Dinner is on the evening of January 4th, taking place at the Town Hall, and will be a three course meal made from locally-sourced ingredients. Dinner is separately ticketed.
The Landworkers Alliance will also be providing an evening of entertainment.
2015 was our biggest gathering yet of this unique event, which brings together individuals and organisations from across UK and international food and farming.
From the biology of soil, to access to land for young farmers, we came together to discuss common solutions to the challenges facing our food system.
