Chadlington Kitchen Garden - a new way to get your veg - including asparagus

Chadlington Kitchen Garden grows fruit, vegetables and many varieties of salad on a vegetable plot with a polytunnel, asparagus bed and orchard in Chadlington.  The CSA’s members pay a monthly subscription and in return receive a weekly share of the produce from the garden. Also order sourdough artisan bread from The Bread Shed - Deep Baked and collect at the same time.

All our varieties are grown for taste rather than shelf life as we harvest on the same day as our members collect (from our local barn).  Our share’s provide 26 members with a weekly seasonal salad share that works out at £25 a month.  We are working towards having more land and extending the share to 60 local members and a larger variety of vegetables in April 2018.

Growing just now we have nine varieties of lettuce, mizuna, mustard frill, rocket, coriander, parsley, mint, savoury, chard, spinach, land cress, chicory, spring cabbage, and kale.

We’d love to welcome anyone wanting to visit the Kitchen Garden and see what we’re doing here at CKG on National CSA Day - Wednesday 1st March 2017.  Please contact Emma by email:  Instagram: @chadlingtonkitchengarden or Twitter: @chadlingtonkg
